Exeter City are proud to support EFL Week of Action 2024 which takes place between Monday, November 18 and Friday, November 22.
The EFL Week of Action sees Clubs and their community organisations from across the EFL’s three divisions showcase the impact of community projects with managers and players joining participants across the country.
Each and every week, Exeter City Football Club, the Supporters’ Trust, and the Community Trust are proud of the work that goes on both on and off the pitch for the benefit of our community, and we send our thanks to all those who engage in and support this work 365 days of the year!
At Saturday's match we celebrated the Fans for Diversity fixture. Click here to find out more.
The club's charity partner City Community Trust deliver inspiring physical activity, education, health and wellbeing programmes and courses primarily across Devon and Somerset for all members of the community regardless of ethnicity, age, gender, physical ability, background or economic status.
Supported by full-time staff of more than 30 people and a casual staff of more than 70 (supported by around 25 volunteers) CCT deliver on the frontline daily, spending around 22,000 hours out in the community every year striving to improve life chances for all, often in the most deprived areas of Greater Exeter and among the most disadvantaged groups in our society.
While football is at their heart, their work in the community has grown to extend far beyond, with programmes and initiatives generating over £6,000,000 in social value each year and around 48% of their work is not football-related.
To mark EFL week of action, we will be highlighting our great work in the community, starting with tonight's Fans' Forum on the Exeter City Women's team at SJP.
